The "time limit" opened and Isshiki and Kashin Koji were still fighting. It's clear that the creative team is using their fight to showcase Isshiki's power. He was obviously messing with Kashin Koji. When it comes to power scaling, it turns out that Kashin Koji knows how to use Sage Mode. So that immediately put him above Jiraiya (the legendary ninja that Kashin is a clone of).
As for Isshiki's abilities, we know that he can shrink himself and inanimate objects. Apparently (from what I understand) for his power to work he needs to have a clear idea of his target. This is a weakness that Kashin Koji decided to exploit. Of course, it didn't work the way Kashin intended, but we still have a weakness to use against such a powerful enemy.
Also, I don't know about you, but Isshiki continued to support the idea involving how weirdly coded he is as a villain. Not only does he want to be reincarnated in a young boy's body (yikes!), but he likes to wear weird-looking pants, and one of his main powers basically boils down to owning an extra-dimensional handbag.
Isshiki is weird in my opinion. Orochimaru used to be on the same path related to how he wanted to resurrect in a young Sasuke's body, and we all know Orochimaru's weirdness in canon (and he decided to be a bit of a good guy). So if Isshiki is also a queer villain, I wouldn't be surprised.
Isshiki is also quite arrogant. To him, human beings are insignificant insects. That's why I know that the fact that Amado was able to betray Isshiki must really sting his ego. He even took a swipe at Kashin by stating that Amado only saw Kashin as an expendable tool.
As for Kashin, he managed to escape. He's not in good shape, but at least he's alive. Will he show up in Konoha to share information with Naruto? I hope we get a scene between Naruto and Kashin. I want to see how Naruto deals with Kashin being a clone of his late teacher.
Our heroes are in big trouble right now. Even though Isshiki only has two to three days to live, using Jigen's imperfect body as a vessel, he still has more than enough time to wreak havoc. I don't think Naruto and Sasuke have what it takes to hold off Isshiki for more than a few minutes.
With the final panel showing Isshiki hovering ominously over the Hidden Leaf Village, I have no idea who will fight him first. Will Naruto and Sasuke even allow the other ninjas to help them during the upcoming battle? I wouldn't mind seeing Rock Lee shake hands.
We also know that Isshiki is not alone. The code is still in another dimension with the Ten-Tails. Do you think Code will attack Kawaki while Naruto and Sasuke are busy with Isshiki? A lot can happen in the next manga chapter and I'm preparing for the worst. The fandom is already talking about Sasuke sacrificing himself to protect the village.
