Boruto Chapter 35 – Up to You
Boruto Manga Chapter 35 Summary
This is the kind of manga I want from Boruto. Titled ‘It’s Up to You’, Chapter 35 gave us new information about what the Kara organization is working on. I’m also looking forward to the probable connection between Karma Seal and Sakura.
Some of the previous Boruto manga releases were quite boring. You could see Ukyou Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto wasting panels and dragging out the story. However, things took a turn for the better in Boruto’s Chapter 35, ‘It’s Up To You’.
Picking up where the previous chapter left off, we got a nice interaction between Kurama and Kawaki.
Kurama said that Kawaki reminded him of a young Naruto, it made sense since Naruto was also used as a vessel. I also liked the panel where Kawaki shed a tear. Due to the dangerous missions that the protagonists have to deal with, you can sometimes forget that they are just children. I appreciated the panel allowing Kawaki to show some emotion.
Naruto and the others are still trying to learn more about the Karma Seal. The shape of the Karma Seal diamond is similar to the Byakugou No Jutsu. They also work the same. Both give the user a chakra boost to increase their strength and other abilities. Salad is the one who figured out this connection because Sakura (her mother) has a Byakugou No Jutsu on her head.
I was very glad when this probable connection was mentioned. Being a Sakura fan, the more Sakura I can get the happier I will be.
According to Mitsuki, there is a lot of history surrounding the Byakugou No Jutsu. As far as I can tell, only Tsunade and Sakura have it in the entire Narutoverse. So it will be interesting to see what our young heroes can learn about this and how it can help them destroy the Kara organization.
“It’s Up To You” also gave us a lot of Sasuke. After getting the information from the flash drive that Konohamaru had procured, Shikamaru and Sai sent Sasuke to a new location (only accessible via Space-Time Jutsu). Once there, Sasuke got a lot of disturbing things. It turns out that the Otsutsuki came to Earth in pairs.
It just dawned on me that the Boruto series seems to feature numerous retcons. But I guess we just have to go with them.
Kaguya apparently came up with a male version of herself. We didn’t get much information about the new character. However, some fans call him King Otsutsuki. Sasuke also found the Jyuubi that Jigen is draining chakra from.
Of course, there are fan theories about how Jigen is a vessel for King Otsutsuki. Additionally, according to certain theories, there are two other Otsutsuki members.
Boruto chapter 35, ‘It’s up to you’, gave fans a lot to think about and I hope the upcoming manga issues will be just as good, if not better.
